MBA Application: Retaking Stats. vs. Focusing On GRE
I have run into a conundrum- with little less than half a year to prepare and strengthen my business school application, I am wondering if I should re-take statistics (received a C-) while I study for the GRE or solely focus on earning a high quant. score. Based on several mock GRE tests, I believe I can score between 168-to low 170s on the quant. section, that is with me making it my sole focus.
I majored in history, and the only quant. class I took was statistics. I have taken a Math for Management class through the UCLA Extension, where I earned a B+, Intro. to Econ. and Intro. to International Business, earning A's on both courses. I hope that offsets the scale in my favor, even if just a bit. That C- still stinks up my profile.
