MBA Chances at Top 10 from BB IT?

I have the option to either become a project manager (PM) at my BB IT division or I can try to move to a tech firm like Google etc. My priority right now is to build up my career towards a MBA and then transition into the Business side from IT.

I am looking to go to B-school in the next 2-3 years and have 2 yrs experience right now. I am just a little concerned that MBA schools wont give a crap about IT in a BB Investment Bank and a top Tech firm would give me a boost. What do you guys think?

This doesn't seem to be a difficult decision? Even without trying to position for an MBA, I would just go to a tech firm for the significant upgrade in job quality/happiness and future prospects (and probably compensation as well). Also, being in an IT role that generally gets paid last but laid-off first is a bad deal.
