MBA Decisions - Aerospace Engineer

Hello,

I’m an engineer/project lead working in the Space Industry with a deferred seat at Sloan and was waitlisted at GSB. I’m hoping to go into entrepreneurship at an aerospace subsidiary company after going to a business school. Undergrad from MIT and masters from Stanford - generally a very engineering heavy background. Couple questions ::

1. I have a dream of investing in and growing small companies in the industry. With that flavor of end goal - what sort of paths should I be considering that leverage MBA learnings/make sense? Search funds, working for a mid-size engineering firm, and management consulting are the three I’ve been thinking about.

2. Would GSB with this type of post mba goal offer any material benefit compared to Sloan? Essentially wondering if another shot at GSB is worthwhile?

Really appreciate any input and happy to provide more background. New to the forum so apologies if this question is incorrectly placed! Happy to delete or move it.
