MBA, think of entering in private equity from a top business school. Have a sleeping disorder though.
I took a class on private equity and really loved it, especially being an operator. I do have some mild sleep apnea and prefer to get up around 10:30. I could control it largely with just melatonin dosing and a solid diet and exercise regimen. But there are some weeks my sleep can get really bad.
However, are there any back-office positions in private equity, which, much like my current industry, engineering, just care a bit more about you performing well vs. timing considerations? Or is the entire industry just totally client-facing where I get shit thrown on my desk at a moment's notice?
Trying to understand how folks with sleep apnea and similar disorders deal with the client-facing stresses and priorities of this industry.
