MBA to Investment Management Role?

Would love to hear about anyone here that was able to secure an Investment Management role post MBA. (Mutual Fund, Hedge Fund, etc) Any color on recruiting process during MBA, comp, wlb, and any tips or things you would've done differently would be greatly appreciated!
