Have been working as an associate consultant at a London boutique for the past year and a half - thinking about the pros and cons of doing an MBA vs a PhD related to the specific industry I am working on (pharma/health).
On one hand, an MBA would be quicker and might give me an opportunity to resume consulting at a higher pay and/or at a better company. However, many of my colleagues and clients I work with have PhDs or medical degrees, with MBAs seemingly not being as highly regarded (at least as far as I can tell)
Any insights appreciated
