Medical School —> Healthcare Analyst?
25 y/o male in my 4th year of medical school. Finance major in undergrad with minors in biology and chemistry. Graduated college in 3 years from state school with 3.98 GPA.
I’m almost done with medical school, (applying to residencies right now) and I just don’t like it. Everyone else in my class is excited for residency and I’m kind of dreading it.
In undergrad I interned at a bank one summer and loved it. To be honest I was torn between medical school and trying to work at a bank after undergrad. The only reason I went to medical school was the job security and because I was worried that because I didn’t attend an Ivy League/Stanford etc school that I wouldn’t get a spot at a bank/fund.
Any chance to break in as maybe a healthcare focused analyst etc at the age of 25?
