Meeting with MSF program director next week, should I treat this as an interview?

Next week I have a meeting scheduled with the program director of an MSF program I am very interested in attending next year. I will be meeting with him/her for about an hour, and then getting lunch with a couple students currently in the program.

While I obviously know to treat this meeting very seriously, i'm not sure if I should approach this meeting the same way as a formal interview. What should i expect, what questions will they ask me, and what kind (if any) can a successful meeting like this have on my admission chances?

I'm sure i'm over thinking the whole thing, but if anyone has any experience or advice about this I would appreciate it.

Be professional, but I wouldn't freak out. This is an interview for you and for them. Ask questions and see if you like it. You want to make sure the school is a good fit for you as well.

As for questions, they will most likely ask you "Why an MSF?", "Why our school?", "What are your plans?". Stuff like that. If you have work or internship experience they might want you to talk about that so be prepared to walk through your resume also.

Consider it to be in the realm of a behavioral type interview, but not as formal. Good luck!
