Most Prestigious MBA Programs

I'll be working at a BB and I'm looking to go the PE route after my analyst years. A large part of why I want to do an MBA is for the brand name/network/alumni/etc. Not really looking to switch career paths either, but who knows. Thinking about starting my own fund. Can we get a decent ranking on the best business Schools based on prestige/brand value?

I know the following is standard: HBS SGB Wharton ---lost on the other schools after this

Also, as someone already in finance and looking to stay in it, would it be worth it to get a MBA from a non-H/S/W or other M7 school?

Hard to ignore the fact that you named all the remaining M7 schools other than MIT Sloan. Do you think MIT Sloan is lower than the others for those of us already in IB and not interested in tech entrepreneurship?

Sloan is a great school in its own right but I have literally never come across an alum in PE. Not saying they don’t exist, it’s just a much smaller network.

If you wanted to do something tech related (or even consulting or banking) Sloan is one of the best schools in the world but if you’re a PE person looking to stay in finance I’m not sure it’s the right fit. I could be totally wrong but that’s my impression.
