Moving to US from Europe with Green Card

I am presently at a tier 1 Long Only Asset Management firm in Europe, but in the US, they would likely be tier 2 or tier 3. My university would not be very well known in the US; however, I am a CFA charterholder. I have about 4 years of work experience in my field of equity research as an analyst on the buyside, and 10 years of work experience overall.

How would my Return on Investment look if I pursued my MBA? I am 34 years old, and hoping to work at a tier 1 asset manager or VC firm in the US. Thank you for all your help and suggestions. Also, should I do an MBA or EMBA?
