MRes/MPhil for a career in BBs

i am a Bsc student in finance, i i'd like to work in the industry in markets oriented roles, or in research ones. For sure im going to pursue a Master of some sort but i stumbled on this MRes/MPhil programmse and i find them really intriguing. Is a Phd needed all after one of theese programmes? could you start working just with this masters? I heard people getting into Econ analyst roles with an MPhil.
Are banks not proned to consider you with this type of degrees? I'd like your opinion
