MS in Finance at McCombs

I'm a junior at Syracuse University majoring in Economics who is looking to break into finance after school and I'm wondering about McCombs to get my MS in finance after Syracuse. I plan to move to Texas from NY eventually during my career so I was looking at local schools there. My other option would obviously be to go to Columbia/NYU/Fordham for my masters but I really like Texas and being there would be ideal later in life. Would anyone be able to shed some light on a similar experience or if they think this is a smart idea? I would get my MS at Syracuse but compared to other schools their graduate school is lackluster from what I hear.
