M.S. programs

I recently stumbled upon the M.S. in Management Science & Engineering at Stanford University, as well as a similar M.S. at Columbia. I was wondering what everyone thinks about these programs in terms of placement within IBD/PE/HF? Are there any other programs that are similar to this one (1yr MS programs) that are in the same category?

Stanford MS in MS&E is Stanford's masters in operations-research. OR places very well into consulting, strategy, risk e.t.c. There are opportunities in IB/PE/HF, but that's not the main goal of this program.

PS: It has significantly higher admit rates than Stanford PhD programs and other flagship MS programs (like CS, EE, ICME), and is used sometimes as a backdoor by students to get the Stanford name.

PPS: Stanford does offer a Masters in FInancial Math that's significantly harder to get into (http://finmath.stanford.edu/)
