MSc Bristol vs Durham

Bristol or Durham for MSc Finance and Investment? My thinking is that if Durham has a significant advantage over Bristol for landing a decent grad scheme, then Ill choose Durham. But based on location, and the people I know in each city, I would prefer Bristol.

So is Durham that much better than Bristol for employability, or is it fairly negligible?

Neither is likely to land you a top job in finance because neither is a target for Masters recruitment.

That's not really helpful, is it? I don't need the best grad scheme, I asked which one would improve my employability the most for a deent entry-level job (i.e., big 4).

You asked so I answered. You incorrectly assumed Durham was better than Bristol for graduate jobs at the Masters level, so I said it was not the case.

You additionally most definitely do not need a Masters to get into Big4 and in fact I would say that's overkill. They employ so many different people from all sorts of universities... You're wasting your money.

If you want to be really anal about an answer: it doesn't matter which one you go to in the slightest
