MSc: Bristol vs St Andrews vs Bath vs Edinburgh

Lads,

Unfortunately I got rejected from few business school in London. Now have pending 2/3 apps in Europe, but my target - as you know - is London's fund industry.

Now I have to decide where to apply between:

  • Bristol (MSc Finance)
  • St. Andrews (MSc Banking and Finance)
  • Bath (MSc Finance and risk)
  • Edinburgh (MSc Banking and finance)

Bristol and St. Andrews look like a viable path in order to break that job mkt.

Thoughts? I know they're semi target, but would like to know in terms of OCR, career and so on, which one worth it.

Thanks!!!!

Randomly search from LinkedIn it seems that at postgrad level St. Andrwes has the edge.. I mean, more students in BB while from MSc Bristol is lower

The name of the game, moving the money from the client's pocket to your pocket

They're all about the same.. Not much of a premium in recruiting though since semi-targets aren't really a thing at the masters level - that said, having the brand helps if you're coming from a lower starting point.

Was obsessed with finance, now do product in tech
