Msc in finance, from UK and USA.
I'm looking to get into FP&A or M&A. I am applying to non-targets like Exeter, Bath, Leeds in the UK and University at Buffalo. How are the prospects there?

FP&A very doable from those schools in UK assuming you're not coming with like 0 work experience or ECs. Bath is half decent.
Just note that FP&A comp in the UK is even more of a discount than with IB, compared to the US. Given £ is almost parity now, you're looking at like £35-40k ($39-45k) starting salary even at a place like Amazon... In London. If you're planning to move back to the US, this probably isn't the most ideal value for money.
M&A probably not, pretty big gap in competitiveness there.
I'm from India, and planning to gain work sponsorship and experience for a while. So it's either UK or USA for the ideal jobs. Which one has more prospects?
I've already told you about salaries so I'll assume you're talking about opportunities when you say prospects. London/NY or other US big cities are major cities. They all have a lot of opportunities.
Visa in the US might be harder whereas UK you get auto visa for two years.
