MSF- Change career lines

Hi,

I am eyeing the MSF course for the fall 2014. I aspire to become an Analyst and have around 7 yrs of IT experience in capital markets/ Asset Mgmt domain. I want to change careers and was wondering If I would land up in IT again after completing my course successfully? Which would defy the whole purpose of my masters. Does any body here have examples of a similar profile like mine or just share some experiences. I want to make sure I am going in the right direction and if doing a masters would ACTUALLY help me change careers

thanks in advance for suggestions

Hi TNA,

Thanks for the info. However, I am already in the process of writing my GRE next week and MBA is somethings that is going to last for 2 yrs and I am not sure if I can afford to be out of job for 2 yrs. How does Harvard Extended School MBA sounds like ? I mean, does it have the reputation to help me change my career lines and get me out of IT and put me on Finance side ? Tht's something I can afford along side my job

Thanks Mohit
