MSRED Vs. MBA

Hi,

Currently debating what is better - an MSRED at an ivy league (Columbia/MIT) or an MBA from a school outside of M7 (Berekely/NYU/UVA). I'm not 100% sure of my path but am looking to do something real estate related in finance based on prior experiences or something entrepreneurial. I am not confident I have the capital/experience yet to start on my own and would like to gain a network and be able to explore pathways while still potentially advancing in the corporate world. I have a few years experience in IB in a finance field (not investment banking).

While given the uncertainty is causing me to lean towards an MBA, the MBA would be 100k more expensive than the MSRED. Plus, real estate development isn't the hottest market which concerns me from a post-graduate POV. I'm not sure I can justify this money without going into consulting/IB, which I don't have interest in- but I still think any program I go to will be valuable in connections and land me a job in a field of interest with less pay.

I know it's an individualistic decision, but any input from people with similar dilemmas would be appreciated.
