Need help picking a college
Kind of did whatever in highschool and now my main options for college are FSU and IU Kelley. I’m from Florida so I would graduate debt free from FSU. Even after parents contribution and scholarships I would come out with $100k+ in student loans from IU. I’ve heard a lot of good things about Kelley and want the best odds at a job in IB, s&t, consulting, etc. I’m also super scared of the debt and don’t know if it’s ultimately worth it given IU isn’t a target school. Any advice?
Both are great schools, and they place their students in great IB jobs. Look up the LinkedIn's of their alumni.
Given that you're thinking of doing IB in your senior year of high school gives you a great advantage. I'd stick with FSU. The $100k in debt is not worth it, and the differences between the schools are not significant. What will ultimately help you get the IB internship is the work you do before stepping on campus before these apps open. Looks like you're heading in the right direction by doing your research on these forums. Best of luck!
Thank you so much for the help, I think I was leaning towards FSU anyways but I just wanted reassurance from people already in finance so that I’m really sure.
