Need information regarding SMU MAF program

Hi,

  I am from India and I have 2 years of work experience in IT. I am thinking of applying for the Singapore management university's MAF program. 

  I am from non finance background and want to get an entry into finance. I interested in Research and analysis, Investment and <span class='keyword_link'><a href="http://tinyurl.com/432ywy8" target="_blank">portfolio management</a></span>, <span class='keyword_link'><a href="/resources/skills/finance/asset-management">Asset Management side</a></span>. I am also looking towards working in Singapore for few years after completing the course. 

  Can someone tell me how this course viewed by the employers in Singapore. In some forums, I read that it does not cover the topics in depth. Can someone help me evaluating this course.
