Non Ivy League/HYPSM Tier List for IB

To my rising seniors, if you don't get into an Ivy League/Stanford/MIT, it's not the end of the road. Here is a tier list for the non Ivy League schools to help you out with your decision as you go through this upcoming cycle. Remember, cost is always important, but going to a top-tier target school can provide a solid advantage than coming from a non-target school, and sometimes going to the target is the better choice as long as it's not too much of a cost burden. Anyways, best of luck this upcoming cycle!

S+: UChicago, Duke

S: Georgetown, Northwestern, NYU Stern

A+: UMich Ross, UVA

A: Notre Dame, Berkeley

B: Emory, USC, Vanderbilt

C: IU Kelley, UNC Chapel Hill, BC, Rice, UCLA, Hopkins, CMU

D: Penn State, Baruch, Rutgers

FYI, OP is an incoming freshman at Georgetown who has spent months on this site, reddit, and even in tiktok comments trying to tell everyone that Georgetown is a good school. Remember all of the Georgetown vs X school posts on this site? Well that was OP. Please ignore OP and their posts because OP clearly has a problem.

It's also just such a dumb list..."the best non-Ivy schools, excluding the actual best ones". Obviously Duke and Chicago are great schools - as good as mid-tier ones - but there's no point in this specific list of 10 schools

If it was a thread of "best schools that are easier to get into" I'd feel differently

Thanks for sharing your opinion. I just wanted to provide a wide variety of schools in the Tier List. Do you think the tiers are accurate, particulary, S-B? Thanks!
