Non-US Target School for US Recruiting
I’m graduating from a target school in Asia after transferring from a UK target school because of health issues. During uni, I interned across consulting, corp strat, and startup strat/FP&A roles, and I’m now trying to recruit for entry-level positions in these roles.
My local market doesn’t have many opportunities in these paths, so I’ve been considering applying directly to US roles instead (I do not require sponsorship in the US). My concern is that my university probably has little to no recognition in the US, nor do I have much of a network there.
Realistically, do I still have a shot at US recruiting, or are school brand and network too important for entry-level strategy roles?
