NYU Stern is the most overrated school

Raw numbers wise NYU Stern sends many kids to IB, but their per capita placement is nowhere near that of Ivies.

I have a friend that goes to Stern and he says his email response rate is 2% just because of how many NYU kids are emailing alums.

Moreover, for a particular EB's info session, I heard 250 kids showed up at stern. At Brown, a school that people think sucks, 20 kids showed up. And that EB ended up hiring the same number of people from Stern and Brown.

And also when you are recruiting for PE, headhunters vastly prefer the Ivy name over NYU Stern. If you go on PE firms' websites and look at the associate profiles you will see that it is littered with ivies but not many Stern kids despite Stern sending a shit ton of kids to IB. Not to mention that the buyside and MBB opportunities out of college are not even close when comparing NYU Stern to an Ivy/Stanford/MIT/Duke/Chicago
