I was wondering if anyone could offer insights on the feasibility of a potential career pivot I would like to make. To summarize, I have worked in Commercial Banking (specifically in Commercial Real Estate) for approximately 6.5 years and am considering pursuing a PT MBA in Chicago (Booth / Kellogg) to change my industry / field. Specifically, I would like to pursue opportunities in Investment Banking/Private Equity (understanding the former is likely a pre-requisite for the latter). Has anyone been able to make a similar transition before / are there any tips you could offer for someone considering making one? Thanks!
