Part-time Rutgers vs NYU

Hi WSO,

I'm currently in a role at a regulator in the nyc area and was informed getting an mba would help to move up into a management role. As a result part-time would be the way to go since I am staying at my firm. Id receive some reimbursement for both schools. However, I cant make up my mind if itd be worth the extra money to go to NYU or not. Would an NYU mba really be worth the extra money down the road if I ever had to jump ship. Also, Rutgers part time you can use there OCR, if I did want to explore my options at a steep discount to going full time.

Id like to know the same. I'm in somewhat of the same predicament. From what I've been told by my superiors, if you plan to stay in your company, any place will do. If you jump ship, NYU is much better reason being the network you become a part of. You meet so many people from different companies, you can find opportunities through them.
