Profile Review Request - Indian IIT graduate

Hello,

I will be graduating from IIT Bombay Civil Engineering in 2018. My CPI is 7.7/10 and I will be joining Deutsche Bank as an M&A analyst for the European market. The job is based in India and hence is a back office job. I have been an secretary of the institute and also awarded an organizational award. What are my chances for M7 schools and what should i do to strengthen my profile in 3 years and become a strong candidate.

Regards

There are several steps you can take:

  1. Over the course of the next three years, see if you can't move into a client-facing role.
  2. If you can acquire international exposure or an assignment out side of India, go for it.
  3. If at all possible, and I know it isn't easy, assume leadership roles on/off the jobs.
  4. Know why you want an MBA. 5 Ace the GMAT.

A few additional resources that you may find beneficial:

Best, Linda
