Profile Review: Which MBA schools should I target?
Stats:
- 27 y/o M
- 3.5 GPA, BSc in Management & Tech top uni in the country
- 1 yoe as Data Analyst while studying undergrad
- 6 months internship at FAANG BizDev (got an offer)
- With graduation, I started a rotational marketing leadership program at Big Pharma. 1-year Trainee, then promoted to Product Manager, Country Brand Lead, etc., progress through 4 years.
- GMAT 730
- Born and raised in the middle east (one of the poor ones)
What I want to achieve:
- Above decent life in a good city
- Might continue in pharma, but I want options. MBB (US or London offices) or Tech PM/Strategy roles.
- Solid network throughout the world, if possible.
- Good ROI for the lost two (or one for places like INSEAD, HEC Paris) years of work experience and the money spent.
I'm a "self-made" type of guy, none of my parents even went to high school, and I had to "grind" a little bit, therefore don't have much of hobbies or other EC. For the US, I'd like to live in the states that I've mentioned.
Which schools should I target, and which would be the safety nets? In which ones do I have a chance for maybe a scholarship (or a full-ride if that's possible)? Which ones would be a stretch?
States that I forgot to mention are Boston, Bay Area, Seattle, NYC.
