Question about resume/essay

I have an entire section on my resume that details an organization I founded during my undergrad. However, my essay focuses heavily on the founding of this organization. I'm having trouble fitting my resume on one page (currently 1 1/4 with 10 point font and narrow page margins), so I was wondering if it would be acceptable to reduce this section of my resume to a single bullet point under "Misc. Volunteer Experience", as I cover the detail of it in my essay. Thoughts?

Hey Khayembii,

Where are you applying? Take my not so professional advice for what it is, but I think you should minimize the experience on your resume like you said. Since you'll be talking about it a lot in your essay, there shouldn't be too much overlap. Since it is a holistic application, you would want to fit in as much as possible about you that really play to your strengths.

I would definitely defer to someone who is in b-school or one of the admissions consultants on here. Just my opinion.
