Ranking of Undergrad Finance Programs

I am currently a Junior in High School and I am looking at schools for an undergrad finance degree (I think I eventually want to become a quant). How would you rank the following schools?

Villanova UT Austin (McCombs) Michigan (Ross) Indiana (Kelley) BC (Carrol) UNC (Kenan-Flagler) UVA (McIntire) NYU (Stern) UMASS (Isenberg) Wisconsin Carnegie Mellon (Tepper)

Thank you, I am also open to suggestions.

Generally accurate but I'd have to disagree. IU Kelley is extremely overstated on your list (I have a close friend that goes there pursuing finance and he always emphasizes that it is basically IBW or bust). Their IB Workshop is known for placements, not the school in general.

Targets 1. NYU Stern 2. UMich Ross >= UVA McIntire (UMich marginally places better if you compare the most career placement reports from the undergrad b-schools respectively, surprised me but is true)

NYU Stern places more than UMich and UVA into FO on a volume & percentage of their ug population, they have location so it's only natural.

Targets (Regionally biased placement, but NYC is no problem for those set on it w/ reason) 3. UNC KF>=UT McCombs

Semi Targets 4. Boston College 5. CMU Tepper ------ !

Non Targets 6. Villanova 7. UMass/Isenberg

I've noticed Villanova is a sleeper they have pretty cool placements

Edit: I just realized OP said he wants to be a quant. This was for FO in general. Throw CMU at the top of this list for quant

I think CMU is the only one on this list with an undergrad Computational Finance program for Quants. Michigan has the option to apply to the Masters program as an undergrad.

Add MIT and Columbia SEAS to the list if you're serious about being a quant
