Real Estate Masters - What are the students like?

Hello,

I am applying to the msred programs at NYU, Columbia and the University of Miami. My question is how entrepreneurial are these students? (I am thinking mostly about NYU and Columbia, but considering UM only because I like the South Florida market)

My goals are more aligned with starting my own firm rather than getting a job in a related field and only considering going to one of these programs for networking and alumni connections.

I guess the question is arbitary because I can always make people entrepreneurial with the right incentives, but, nonetheless, just interested in what goals people have when entering these programs.

Thanks,
