Really have to get an MBA after FO MF SA, grind doesnt stop smh

I got a FO MF offer for this summer, am really satisfied with my role and would love to stay in the industry. I didn't go to a target school, more of a semi target but everyone around me has that "pedigree". Finance is a prestige-oriented world, so I was wondering if I should get an MBA even though I do not wanna switch over or anything. Don't understand why pedigree even matters tbh, met a lot of idiots with "pedigree", and know smart people from non ivy league schools
