Retake GMAT? MBA Associate Recruiting Advice

I am going to an M7 this fall and plan on recruiting for IB. I have consistently scored 760-770 on all six official GMAT practice tests. My final score needed up being 740 on the real test (choked a little apparently).

  • Do you think it’s worth retaking for associate recruiting in fall?
  • I have it on my resume right now. would you include that score on your resume? It’s hardly above the M7 average GMAT (730 nowadays) but I’m worried that omitting it may leave the impression that I didn’t score well.

I think GS asked about GMAT but I think that was just the school team using it as one part of their initial screen. Some of the online portals asked but 740 is completely fine. If you don’t put it on your resume, no one will be like oh shit this candidate at XYZ M7 must have a 560. Some people in my class put it on their resume while others didn’t and it wasn’t a big deal.

For what it’s worth, when I did recruiting this year at my BB, we didn’t have GMAT in our tracking at all.
