Review my Series 7 Prep

Hey all just wanted to gather some thoughts on this. Finished up knopman marks vids and on all chapter quizzes and questions I've done, I get 60%-70% on all of them. I know S7 i need a 72% to pass but have heard knopman marks questions are harder then the actual test. I still need to take the diagnostic and benchmark exams but tell me your thoughts on if I'm prepared or not? Test is in two weeks.

Based on the most helpful WSO content, here are some insights and advice for your Series 7 preparation:

  1. Knopman Marks Material:

    • Knopman Marks is highly recommended for Series 7 preparation. Their material is very up-to-date and the questions are similar to what is asked in the actual examination.
    • Users have reported that Knopman Marks questions can be more challenging than the actual test, which can be beneficial for your preparation.
  2. Current Scores:

    • Scoring 60%-70% on chapter quizzes and questions indicates that you have a solid foundation, but there is room for improvement to reach the 72% passing mark.
    • It's crucial to aim for higher scores in practice to ensure a comfortable margin above the passing requirement.
  3. Next Steps:

    • Take the diagnostic and benchmark exams as soon as possible. These will give you a better understanding of your readiness and highlight areas that need more focus.
    • Review the questions you get wrong and understand why the correct answers are right. This will help reinforce your knowledge and improve your accuracy.
  4. Study Tips:

    • Make sure to read and understand all the material provided. Rationalize your answer choices and focus on eliminating incorrect options.
    • Create a study schedule to ensure you cover all topics systematically. For example, aim to review one chapter every two days.
    • Utilize the QBank extensively and take notes on the answers, especially for questions you find challenging.
  5. General Advice:

    • Do not take the test lightly. Dedicate sufficient time to study and review all materials thoroughly.
    • Consider attending a Knopman two-day training event if possible, as it can provide additional insights and reinforce your preparation.

Good luck with your exam in two weeks! Keep pushing and make sure to review all your materials diligently.
