School advise

Hi there, I have a no name mba which I did part time and finished a year ago. GMAT 680. How can I best improve my profile?

I have extensive work experience in management for a large software company and consulting company.

Got into a doctorate program at a mid tier university. Was wondering if it's worth it?
Should I do something like a ms in marketing at a top tier?
Any advise as I'm not going to repeat the mba but am wondering if a doctorate is overkill..

Improve your profile for what? What do you want to do?

..and it's advice.

Under my tutelage, you will grow from boys to men. From men into gladiators. And from gladiators into SWANSONS.

The answer is yes if you want to teach. If you're simply looking for a job then the monetary cost, effort, and most importantly time would not be worth it.

To reiterate the above it's definitely all about what you want to be doing 5 years from now.

Listen, here's the thing. If you can't spot the sucker in the first half hour at the table, then you are the sucker.
