SIE exam... Do IB professionals really care if you have this as a college student?
A couple of people around me who are also interested in high finance are flexing that they took this exam - to an extent that is honestly annoying because they think it makes them super special. Just curious if anyone who has broken into a bank (any really, boutique, MM or BB) thinks this is worth $80 and studying for a week. If employers really care about it I will do it but otherwise, I think my time would currently be better spent networking with banks I recently applied to.
Literally does not matter and will not impact a hiring decision. Especially for straight out of college.
