Situation on post-MBA (and internship) recruiting for International Students

I am in the process of applying for a FT MBA in the US (targeting T10 mostly) and, given all the confusion with H-1B, F1 Opt, can anyone elaborate on how the recruiting is going for international students? There are a lot of conflicting reports of companies just flat-out not recruiting if you don't have a visa, even for internships and that major companies are still sponsoring normally.

I'm just trying to set my expectations for landing a job in the US afterwards right.
