Starting networking before Master's in USA?
I am joining a semi/non-target university this fall in USA for a Master's Degree in Finance. I am from a "third-world" country and want to start networking as soon as possible since its a semi/non-target university.
I have connected with a a bunch of alumni on LinkedIn, also now have access to Uni email. I have been chatting with these alumni but most of them do not have a SA or FT at a financial firm.
Can I start networking right now or should I wait to actually start my term?
