Statistics or Econ Major for IB

Hi all
I'm a rising junior and I'm really bent between Stats or Econ (can't do both, could do a major/minor combo). I already have a PE internship for this summer and am recruiting for IB too. my GPA is on the 3.1-3.3 side. I also go to a semi-target in the NE. Have heard from some alumni Econ is good and not too demanding as it's only 2 major classes per semester. Stats major, I've read more & more that the business industry and overall employment is shifting to a tech/analytical side (?). I'd really like some insight for those who chose either-or.
My current options are
Stats major, minor in Econ
Econ major, minor in Stats
Stats major, Spanish minor ( halfway done already).
Any advice would be great!
