Stay at University of Miami or Transfer to Vanderbilt Undergrad

I am a current freshman at the University of Miami (UM) majoring in Finance and I was recently accepted to Vanderbilt University as a transfer. I would be majoring in economics instead of finance and I was wondering if IB firms care about the difference in major.

I understand UM is only a target for citi and Vanderbilt is more of a semi-target in general for finance firms. On the downside, I would have to repeat a semester because not all my UM courses transfer over and there are not as many opportunities to intern at firms in Nashville as in Miami.

What are people's thoughts? I would appreciate a little guidance.
