STEM undergrad for Finance
Hi,
Will a STEM (Computer science) degree hinder or be advantageous when applying for Finance / PE-related masters? I'm standing before a choice between top CS or top Econ undergrad in the DACH region. Initially, I was leaning towards CS, however, I'm afraid it will kill my chances for some competitive IB/PE-target masters degrees like LSE's MFin or maybe something in the US.
My long-term goal is to land at the top VC / tech-PE fund (preferably in the US/London) if that helps.
How is the general reputation of STEM grads generally perceived in those fields?
Thanks for your time.
doesn't hurt for London
