Study abroad?

Would choosing to study abroad junior year make the recruiting process more difficult? I am a rising sophomore right now, trying to plan out the rest of my college career. I came in with a good deal of credit and could graduate 1-2 semesters early anyway so it shouldn’t set me back in that regard.

And if you do recommend it, would fall semester or spring semester be best? Thanks.
