Study abroad in South Korea experience?

Hey guys. Currently considering studying abroad in south korea. My options to apply to are Seoul National University and Korea University. Does anyone have experiences with either they can speak to? What is the student life and/or social life like? Thanks!

I went - was an amazing experience and consider it one of the best summers of my life. Clubs in korea are super well regarded globally and there are tons of great places to eat, drink, and meet people. Itaewon is a cool neighborhood known for foreigners. Didnt study at snu but have studied at the other big two unis and made a ton of both korean and non korean friends

did the language barrier hinder you at all? do you recommend learning korean before going or do a lot of people speak english? What are your thoughts on SNU vs. KU for exchange students / social life / university quality in general.
