I know there are a couple companies that do a shock program to get you ready why don't you network and see if you can do an internship at a firm?
I have an internship set up already, I want something the week before I start. My classes end the first week of May, and my internship starts towards the end of the May, so there's a 2-3 week gap. I may travel a bit.
