Target schools for Waffen SS (1930s)

If you wanted to break into the Third Reich's most prestigious, selective and elite unit, the Waffen SS in the 1930s and 1940s, what schools would you attend to give you the best chances? I'm talking alumni base, OCR, general prestige, et cetera.

After Realschule or Gymnasium you have classic targets like University of Graz, University of Vienna, Technical University Munchen or Berlin, or even the party sponsored Reichuniversität in the newly annexed territories. You'll want to become a party member ASAP to get a lower NSDAP party number, proving your allegiance to the Reich. Bonus points if you have Mensur dueling scars like Kaltenbrunner, Rudolf Diels, or Old Otto Bismarck to show the quality of your character. Dueling is now prohibited in the Reich so scars have become more exclusive. Going through a Hitlerjugend (Hitler Youth) program with top marks in rifle practice, anti-marxist propaganda, and book-burning are preferred.

Unfortunately admission to the Waffen-SS is also predicated on your racial stock. Bonus point for blue eyes, square chin, blond hair, and tall stature.  Swedish or Norwegian stock is preferred although after the failed soviet campaigns and conflicts in conscription with the Werhmacht, Kriegsmarine, and Luftwaffe the SS has gotten less picky. You can even have alpine, dinaric, or mediterranean Caucasian phenotypes and be admitted although expect front-line work instead of inseminating plump fraüleins in lebensborn clinics; that's reserved for pure Aryans. Most prestigious groups include panzergrenadiers and SS-Kavallerie. Gestapo is a good lateral if you want to work in annexed territories against resistance pockets to become police chief and maybe interior minister down the line. Waffen-SS track is more towards SS-Oberkommando although with the flailing war effort Hitler has been given high ranking SS officers like Himmler generalship authority over Wehrmacht units through his Führerprinzip mandate, laying the groundwork for high-level Werhmacht laterals.

Ultimate exit opps include execution by hanging or firing squad (most prestigious if you face a tribunal at Nuremberg and are convicted of both war crimes and crimes against humanity), Soviet Gulags, or suicide by simultaneous self-inflicted gunshot wound and / or cyanide capsule (both together is most prestigious as it emulates the Führer. First chew then shoot) Bonus points if you commit suicide in a POW camp with a potassium cyanide capsule embedded in a prosthetic tooth before the allies or soviets uncover your true identity and try you for waging wars of aggression

No, I've sinced lateraled to Pig-Farming Operations in Argentina for a better WLB. Didn't feel that hanging by Albert Pierrepoint's short-drop in a repurposed Schule gymnasium was right for me even though it is hailed as the holy grail on hitlerjugendoasis.de I lost perks like harassing the occupied citizens of France and appropriating their rations but realized that unbridled political, racial and military power is not all there is to life...
