Thoughts On Deferred MBA Programs?

Considering applying to a deferred MBA program and wanted to get some perspectives. Are these programs really worth it in terms of long-term ROI and network, especially if you're already on a solid IB/PE track? I’ve heard mixed things—some say it’s a golden ticket, others say it’s unnecessary if you’re already at a top firm. Also, do PE firms typically sponsor or reimburse deferred MBA admits, or is that mostly for post-MBA associates?
