Top Business schools with no dress code or casual dress?

I'm fine with wearing a nice suit and french cuffs when appropriate. But, day to day, I'm pretty casual.

What schools require a collar (does HBS require it)? What schools would be ok with wearing a cutoff shirt when coming from the gym or something (hopefully NYU, Stanford)?

"Click OK to Continue" lol WHAT?!

Is there no dress code or recommended wear at these schools?

Enlighten me, brother.

"the HBS student body has finalized its sartorial transformation into the peculiar combination of waterproof boots and Burberry scarves that can only be described as “British peasant farmer couture”. As this transition takes place, it becomes clearer and clearer that despite the changing of the seasons and the passing of time, a unifying MBA dress code does exist on this campus – and understanding it is critical to your success, both within the classroom and without."

If you are taking that literally you are going to struggle on the GMAT mate.

Have to get one of those bodybuilding.com shirts to let him know you came to dominate class discussion.

EDIT: Totally misread the title. It's been a long week.... editing my OP below to delete what is not relevant for your situation.

What's your budget? A lot depends on this.

Suits: Hate to break it to you, but Suitsupply is not pricey when it comes to suits. I'd go with 2 Suitsupply suits, one navy, one charcoal. Get 2 pairs of pants per jacket because pants wear out quickly. Regardless of where you get your suits, the fit is everything. Spend the cash to take it to a good tailor whom you trust.

Shirts: Agree with the brand choice. Stick to blues and whites; no funky stripes/Prince of Wales patterns unless they are very subtle.

Shoes: This is the one thing you do not want to cheap out on. A good pair of shoes can last a lifetime. Spend the cash and get yourself a pair of Allen Edmonds Park Aves. AE used to offer a 25% student discount in-store if you show your ID; unsure if they still do this but worth a shot.

Ties: Nothing flashy, no fat stripes. Stick with Brooks Brothers.

For quantity, it's going to depend on the culture of your school and how formal/casual you can dress daily.
