Transfer?
Coming from a top single-digit acceptance rate school (generally t10/t15 on Forbes/USNews), strong finance connections but a smaller tight knit alumni network.
Considering if I should try and make a move as an incoming sophomore to UPenn/Columbia/UChicago, or if it is even worth. my school has grade inflation, send a good number to GS/EVR/PJT/BX but lack a pipeline at Big 4 HFs or quant.
~3.86-3.9 GPA, good ECs, and stats around the board. Wonder if I should commit to the process (strictly preprofessionally (both in finance/tech), especially as Penn offers a dual degree with the Wharton School.
any suggestions from any transfers?
Probably don’t need to unless you’re deadset on pod shops for HF.
Otherwise SM funds just recruit IB, or 2+2
