Transfer to Cornell AEM or MBA route for IBD?

This has been asked a billion times so I’ll be quick, but I’m looking at full price at transferring to Cornell AEM (about 180k in debt) vs. free undergrad at FSU engineering and trying to work into a top MBA program. I’m doing good at FSU right now, 4.0 GPA in tough classes, working hard but also having a good time. The thing is the MBA route is a long road and a lot has to go right to get me where I want to be (IBD), and a halfway decent business school could be just as much as undergrad at Cornell. But by the time I’ll be in business school hopefully I’ll have some money from engineering and the price tag won’t seem too bad. Is the debt from Cornell worth the risk? I would prefer going to Cornell I've been told I'm retarded for taking on that much debt.
