Transfer to Western Ivey worth it?

So I’m a Grade 12 student right now and unfortunately I did not apply to Ivey and got waitlisted then rejected for Queen’s Commerce so my next best offer is Waterloo AFM. However, I’ve heard that AFM is a bit too accounting dominant and that the upper year courses are actually quite difficult. Do you guys think it’s worth it to transfer to Ivey after my 2nd year at Waterloo? Is the difference in IB recruiting at the 2 schools really that significant? Any insight would be appreciated, thanks.

If you think you can be a top student at Loo you would have the same setup as students of queens and Ivey.

KPMG TS -> Alta’s -> SA recruiting.

Significant hiring differences is cross border hires. Almost no pipelines from wLoo so staying in Canada is pre much only offer. Transfer to ivey is hard, if you want it bad enough transfer western first year and get an 85+ average in year 1+2. Recruiting is year 2 anyway so if you ONLY want BB IB or high end PE then transfer first year, otherwise stay. The positions are highly competitive and you will have to be fully committed or else it’s not worth
