Transferring to Stern School of Business for Undergrad?

Hi Everyone,

I recently finished my first year of college at the McCombs School of Business. This year, however, I also applied as a transfer applicant to the Stern School of Business. I was not accepted into the honors program at McCombs and considered the large class size along with a lack of academic/career opportunities to be a problem. Yesterday, I got accepted to Stern. In the future, I hope to pursue a career in Investment Banking and was wondering if Stern will provide a significant advantage Stern over McCombs in terms of a business education and recruiting opportunities. Luckily, my family is fortunate enough to pay the 80K per year necessary for Stern. Please let me know! Thank you

If cost is no issue, I would take it. I am in a very similar situation like you and chose to go with the better school. UT Austin is definitely great, but Stern can provide unparalleled opportunities.
